Step 01
Check in together.
Open the app. Your child’s avatars are waiting. They tap in, or you tap in for them, and the stars come down the screen for showing up. Just being here is the first win of the night.
That tap is also what starts tonight’s part being written, there and then. How punctual they were is one of the things the story is told, so it genuinely cannot be written in advance. A few moments later it is ready to read.
The check in is the anchor. It says the same thing every night: bedtime starts now, and we do this together. Streaks build from the first night.

Step 02
Read tonight’s part aloud.
Hushero hands you tonight’s part of a story built around your child. Their name, their cast, their world. You hold the phone. You read aloud. No narrator, no background music winding them back up.
Free stories are five minutes a part. On a paid plan you pick five, ten or fifteen once, and the story honours it every night after. The part comes to a rest, and names the time it picks up.

Step 03
Tomorrow at bedtime.
Stars are added to their total, which only ever climbs. Streaks tick up. The reward your child chose with you gets closer. You close the app and the room goes quiet, because nothing carries on playing without you.
Tomorrow night you check in again and the next part is written for you. Same time, same ritual, same warm pattern. Bedtime stops being something you negotiate and becomes something your child moves towards.
